Burns Night Celebrations

Our annual celebration of all things Burns took place on Friday 26th January 2007.We began with our inspection which was won by squad 4 who edged out squad 3 due to Bryan Robb & Calum Marshall both turning out in their kilts,impressive !
Then we had a Bullseye type quiz with points awarded for hitting the dart board with a sponge ball,squad 2 stormed back from 4th place at the midway point to pip squad 1 and win.
It was then down to the staff room for our Burns recital when a volunteer from each squad recites a verse of Burns while eating a dry cracker,a very difficult skill.Points where deducted for crumbs but again squad 2 won the day.A well earned break for our Scotch pies & Irn Bru followed...mmmmm then we moved to the games hall for highland games in the form of a inter squad sprint and a hand burning tug of war. After all of that the overall winners where squad 2 but no one was a loser as all boys gave their all in a fun packed evening.
