Summer Activities - Cycle - Pentland Hills

This was the first in a series of Sunday cycles.

The weather was kind to us and with a gentle breeze the group were dropped by the "support crew" at Balerno and we travelled through Pentland hills to Flotterstone - with only the odd stop off for running repairs!

The starting hill made for a challenging start... but Scott "sounds-like-a-steam-engine" made it up!

The group reached Flotterstone inn in record time so it was back on the buses and vans and the group were dropped at Penicuik and an enjoyable run from Penicuik to Bonnyrigg on the old railway...
