Lady Khatun Marium Navik School
update October 2007.

For the past 2 sessions the 51st company has sponsored some kids to aid their education in the Lady Khatun Marium Navik School in India. The School is located about one and a half hours distance from Mumbai. Why India and why this school?
Our treasurer, Mr Eric Lamb is a lecturer and assessor covering naval and maritime disciplines. Eric regurarly visits the Mohamed Yusuf Seamen Welfare Foundation - the School is attached to this.

Harshada

Harshada is in class II and is 8 year old.

She is pictured doing some craft work. Her report card is very impressive and is obviuosly a talented girl.

She is from Kopar.

Irfan is in class III and is 9 year old.

He is from Nhava.

Divya is in class III and is 9 year old.

She is from Nhava.

Pictured on the right a beautiful girl. Her handwriting in her letter is very good - she obviously enjoys school!
