Company Visit to Edinburgh Zoo
We took part in a Company visit to Edinburgh Zoo on 7 November. We had a very enjoyable day, helped by the weather being very good as well. THe boys all enjoyed themselves, visiting many of the attractions, and of course the shop ! Here are some pictures, including boys holding cockroaches !
Halloween Party
We had our haloween party on Tusday 27 October and had a night full of fun and games. Here are some pictures of the night.
Battalion 125 Anniversay Fun Day
Another organised event, this time in June and closer to home at Vogrie, in celebration of the Brigades 125th anniversary. Many different activities were undertaken and a good day had by all.
Museum Of Flight
The section participated in a battalion visit to the Museum Of Flight at East Fortune. Similar to the Anchor Section day, the weather could have been kinder to us, but ours was in May not March ! A good day out by all despite the weater, seeing many of the attractions including a visit to Concorde.
Visit of Daniel and Zippy
We had a visit in May from special visitors from Kenya. Daniel and Zippy live in Ngong and are very involved in the Kenyan side of our Project Stedfast. After our trip to Kenya in February, Daniel and Zippy were guests of the 3 companies involved in the trip and came along to visit us.
American Football
One of the members of the Junior Section staff is an avid AMerican Football fan and plays the sport as well. He organised a trip to Meadowbank Stadium to see a game on a pretty cold day. Despite this, the boys all seemed to enjoy it !

Hallowe'en Party - 28 October 2008
We held our Hallowe'e party on Tuesday 28 October. Party games and fancy dress were the order of the night. Here are some photo's of the boys during the night :
Junior Section Football - September 2008
We entered a team in the outdoor 7-a-side tournament held at Letham Park at the end of September. The boys had mixed results but all enjoyed themselves. Well done to them all.
Junior Section Display 6 June 2008
The Display and Presentation of awards was held on Friday 6 June in Lasswade High School, with Catherine Clark, Captain of the Girls Brigade in Dalkeith, as our Inspecting Officer.
